Just Add Watercolor by Helen Birch
Recently I checked out Just Add Watercolor by Helen Birch. I'm a Multi-Media Artist I like to dab in all types of art. I was excited about this book because it was one of the styles of art I haven't mastered yet. I noticed it is a small book reminds you of the size of a large greeting card, it has over 200+ pages. The pages have bright beautiful photos from about 70 different watercolor artists. The pages have glossy prints in full color. Each page spread features a full-color print of watercolor art on one side and information on the other. The book is a small heavy type book which I love.. Holding this book is very nice and just the exact type of book I like to put on my coffee table for everyone to enjoy. It's a very visional type book giving you ideas on the beautiful world of watercolor. If your like me I like to see ideas not just read them. This has that vibe to it. I think you would really enjoy looking at the photos and seeing the watercolor art.
My only down fall to this book is I wish it held a little more detail and instruction on how to do different strokes and techniques in water color painting. I could really use those instructions and help.
I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
