I don't know why but this reminds me of something that was back in the days from tupperware. I think about a half a head of lettuce would fit into the bowl. When using any liquid type veggies or fruits I would be aware that it might leak like it did with mine. But other wise it was easy to cut the lettuce up and then make a salad.
