The Postage Stamp Vegetable Garden by Karen Newcomb

The Postage Stamp Vegetable Garden by Karen Newcomb I wanted to review it because I wanted to learn more about planting in small spaces and containers. I have tried in the past and failed on growing things in small pots and areas. This book is great for those that want to grow organic in small spaces such as patios and such.  I did enjoy looking through out the postage stamp garden plans. This book is full of useful information on growing in small space gardens.

It does have great layout ideas. It also includes advice on how to plant, water and keep the vegetables healthy. You will learn lots about what is best planted together and how long it takes to germinate. The book does have lots of layouts for gardening. There's also tips on what to do for diseases on your plants or pests.

With that said there's a lot to read throughout the book. I loved the cover of the book and I thought by just looking at that there would be more photos inside. I am a visual person and I like to look at photos.. I think it would have been more beneficial to me if there were photos instead of sketches for me to follow. I didn't care much about  the paper it's printed on either cause it's easy to tear. But other than that it's a decent book for beginners and people that have lots of time to sit down and read. But for me I am like I said more of a visual person.

Thank you to Blogging for Books for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review
